Aspose.OCR for Java is an Optical Character Recognition(OCR) Library for developers to add OCR functionality in their Java applications. The API is easy to use, compact, extensible, and provides a robust set of classes to programmatically control character recognition. It supports widely used image formats and provides features like noise extraction filters, scanning part images or the entire image, bold and italic styles, reading multiple characters and fonts from images, and more. The API also has the ability to perform OCR using the GPU instead of the core processor.

Developers can use Aspose.OCR for Java to extract text and other information like font, style & location of text from locations on of an image. This allows performing OCR operations to execute quickly on document scans that follow a similar structure. The OCR library performs the operation on the Multi or single line images.

The Aspose.OCR for Java API supports the recognition of Text formants like Arial, Times New Roman, Courier New, Verdana, Tahoma, and Calibri fonts in regular, bold, and italic text styles fonts & styles.
Multi-Language Support
The Aspose.OCR for Java supports multiple languages such as English, Portuguese, French, Spanish, and additional ore languages are to be supported in future releases of API. The language of the input character does not affect the ease of recognition.
